Meet the Founder
iMaJN Media is a specialized motion media studio led by Miyoni Nelson, dedicated to crafting visual narratives that explore the profound depths of identity, healing, and human connection.

Through films like Too Done, an SFAC grant-winning project centered on survivors of abuse, Tethered, a psychological exploration of toxic attachment, and Encrypted, a story rooted in therapy and self-confrontation, Miyoni’s work consistently seeks to hold space for stories that are often felt but rarely spoken. Her proof-of-concept film The Craft further expands her vision into series storytelling, exploring the inner world of artists navigating purpose, fear, and authenticity.

iMaJN Media was built on the belief that storytelling is a powerful tool for reflection and change. Miyoni’s intention is not only to create compelling visuals, but to spark conversations, challenge generational patterns, and offer audiences a sense of recognition and release. Every project under iMaJN is guided by a simple but intentional question: what truth needs to be felt, not just seen?

Through her work, Miyoni continues to build a creative space where honesty is prioritized, healing is explored without perfection, and stories are told with both care and courage.
