Miyoni Nelson is the founder of Imajn Media, a creative production company dedicated to storytelling that heals, challenges, and transforms. A Bay Area–based director, actress, and writer, she creates emotionally honest narratives that center identity, self-worth, and the complexities of healing within the human experience.

Beginning her visual storytelling journey as an actress, her burning desire to step into the off-camera world stemmed from lack of external opportunities around her. After growing tired of waiting for a "yes", she decided to create her own "yeses" for herself and her artistic peers.
Her work explores the tension between who we are and who we’re becoming, often highlighting the quiet, internal battles that shape our lives---challenging viewers to do the necessary introspection.
Through Imajn Media, Miyoni’s intention is to create mirror-like stories that feel deeply lived-in—stories that spark reflection, break cycles, and remind audiences of their ability to reclaim their power and take control.
